The Inn's location is idyllic, surrounded by beautiful farmland and gardens. The cozy bar features a lovely open fireplace, perfect for unwinding. The food was exceptional, with a Full English breakfast that stood out. The accommodation was comfortable, and I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great escape for relaxation.

The staff were excellent and very willing to accommodate requests, the breakfasts were excellent and the accommodation spotless.

The room was quite large, very clean and had all the necessary comfort. Hotel is in a very quiet and rural area. The service of the hotel personnel is excellent; you "feel" as a customer that you are not a number but that they really take care of you. Breakfast is more than ok, dinner is excellent. Will visit for sure again when we are in the neighbourhood.

I had shown - while booking - our preference for a bath instead of a shower. The hotel has no rooms with bath and should have informed us about this by reply e-mail. Blankets on the bed are not very common anymore in hotels ...

I liked the interiour of the room and the pub, the very good dinner and the friendliness of the owner and his wife.

Conveniently located near the coast, an airfield, Flatford Mill, fields, flowers. Plus, just a 10-minute drive from Upthorpe Mill Windmill. 🌾

Excellent, friendly service and very accomodating. Food really good and reasonably priced. Clean comfortable bedroom - single storey (converted stable block?). Nice relaxing "old world" feel in pretty Suffolk village.

Would have appreciated two sachets of shower gel for double room instead of one!

This place has a beautiful location, just a short walk from a historic windmill and close to an impressive church and local market.

Nice friendly Inn, in quite village location. Good value for money with good food.

Limited number of staff during buisy periods. Electric shower in the room, was not very powerfull. Also walls between rooms were very thin, enabling you to hear conversations in next door room.
